Job Description

The Customer Fulfillment Team ensures end users can complete their work in an efficient manner relative to their IT needs. The team manages application access requests, software and hardware requests and equipment purchases as well as iDevice Management. Intern responsibilities include assisting with day to day activities to learn about this multi-function team and then branching out into several activities that can be matched to the interns’ interest and skills. The technician may assist with automation process activities, data analysis improvement activities, asset information tracking and reconciliation, IT ticketing system testing, new hire process improvements, device management and end user documentation creation and updates.

Timeframe: Summer 2023 (May 22nd - August 11th)

Duration: 12 Weeks

Potential Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Configuration Management Database schema and processes
  • Support and assist with the reconciliation and updates for Software assets globally and look for automation opportunities
  • Support and assist with the reconciliation and updates for PC hardware assets globally and look for automation opportunities
  • Support and assist with the reconciliation and updates for iDevice hardware assets globally and look for automation opportunities
  • Maintain and execute monthly reconciliation templates to ensure system integrity
  • Review and resolve issues with access and equipment requests
  • Assist with the design, development, and testing of new or changes to the existing ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Review end user documentation: look for opportunities to update or create new documentation where needed
  • Understand the existing new hire processes: look for opportunities to improve/automate processes and update or create new documentation where needed
  • Participate in special projects and other assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or similar field
  • Proficiency in Office products mandatory; experience with Outlook, Active Directory, SharePoint, application testing software, at least one Enterprise Application (ERP) System (ex: SAP, JDEdwards) a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines. Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills required (both verbal and written) including the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Spanish language a plus
  • Occasional local travel possible
