Your Role & Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Assistant Manager – Logistics & Indirects with strong Data Analytical skills and a can-do approach to doing what it takes to win. We are looking for someone who thrives in balancing cost, benchmarking, service, innovation & partnerships with the ambition to deliver a substantial step up in profitable growth of the current perimeter.

As the Procurement Assistant Manager – Logistics & Indirects, you will play a role in developing Logistics & Indirects sourcing strategy, organisisng data nalayisis and providing accurate and high quality dat to take important decisions based on various facts and scenarios, supply chain network, repacking, optimisation and contract execution. This end-to-end role will be responsible for creating the right contractual & relationship framework which delivers on – ongoing competitive costs, data diagnostic, service, innovation & sustainability priorities of the business and brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Part of the procurement team with overall responsibility for specific Logistics & Indirects contracts, Data diagnostic, supply chain network optimisation and contract execution.
• Identify and assess potential suppliers, prepare and manage supplier selections, tenders and finalise commercial agreements, coordinating with budget holders and support cross functional teams effectively and efficiently.
• Developing and [Register to View] target="_blank">maintaining databases, data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format.
• Preparing reports for all the categories stating analytical trends, patterns, spend analysis and predictions using relevant data.
• Partners with cross functional teams in a global setup and any supply chain network optimisation to deliver on the objectives and priorities.
• Ownership and management of all repack SKUs, working closely with the R&D, Packaging Technologist and Supply chain stakeholders.
• Responsible for ensuring the right contractual framework to deliver on the priorities and ongoing performance KPIs.
• Costs: Cost visibility, owns the cost delivery against annual budget. Ensures ongoing cost competitiveness, creates and delivers on a savings funnel in line with annual targets.

• Develop strong relationship with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to design the logistics & Indirects strategy and fulfil the requirements for smooth networking.
• Tracks key contracts and develops supplier relationships for quality and service.
• Create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
• Service: Collaborates with Logistics & Indirects team to ensure right pricing and contracting principles are followed. Intervenes to resolve short term service issues.
• Sustainability: helps to create and deliver on the sustainability vision on logistics and indirects portfolio in line with the broader business vision.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in business, finance, or supply chain management.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement with focus on Logistics & Indirects portfolios.
• Understanding of key Logistics (Ocean & Road) & Indirects suppliers, costing principles, data analytics, open-book costing, intellectual property ownership & sustainability.
• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.
• Demonstrate analytical and conceptual problem-solving ability; excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and advanced microsoft excel and presentation skills.

• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure with autonomy.
• Be able to effectively lead and engage cross functional global teams and a willingness to take responsibility and accountability.
• Be a self-starter with the ability to deliver results in a lean, agile organisation and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Financial and numerical skills with High-level of attention to detail.
• Oracle experience is beneficial.
