Associate Manager, Vineyard - To Kalon

Position Summary
This position will primarily be based in Oakville, CA at To Kalon Vineyard/Robert Mondavi Winery.
This position will assist with the execution of certified organic and sustainable viticulture programs in premium Napa Valley vineyards. This position reports to the Vineyard Manager and will assist with day-to-day execution of vineyard operations and projects. The successful candidate will manage certain projects independently while developing the skills and capabilities required for more advanced roles. Additionally, this opportunity provides excellent exposure to the larger world of Grape Management as well as cross functional collaborators including Winemaking.
Responsibilities
Organize staff in daily work programs as requested by manager
Collaborate with manager to manage vineyard operations and budget
Manage projects independently as assigned by vineyard Director/Manager
Assist with sustainability, organic and other compliance programs
Supervise vineyard operations to ensure quality and production standards are met, including: hand labor, equipment and pesticide operations
Comply with and actively ensure safety and quality working practices of yourself and any staff under your supervision in accordance with Constellations EH&S policies and procedures.
Assist with LEAN activities, contribute to an environment of continued improvement
Must display continuous improvement of management level skills & capabilities
Interpret viticulture data with vineyard management team
Lead and work as part of a team and treat other staff with respect
Record and report chemical applications
Ensure activities are recorded daily, up to date and within prescribed programs as assigned
Review timecards weekly, support payroll process
Work well with cross functional team members
Manage others in a positive and effective manner, providing feedback via the CBI performance management process
Partner with HR and senior leadership regarding employee relations as needed
Any other duties as reasonably required
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
2-3 years’ experience in related field
Must have excellent writing, math and computer skills
Must communicate clearly and effectively, in English, over a variety of mediums
Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual English/Spanish
3-5 years of experience in related field
QAL &/or PCA certified
ARC GIS experience
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Works outdoors/indoors
Works in warm/cold climates
Works in high places
Works on wet surfaces
Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
Must be able to move up to 55lbs
Primary office environment may be warehouse/distribution setting

Operations and ProductionThe salary range for this role is:
$79,600.00 - $119,300.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
