Procurement Analyst - 3PM Beauty and Personal Care

Background & Purpose of the Job

This position provides analytical support to the procurement activities for Collaborative Manufacturing team for the Beauty and Wellbeing category as well as participation in the innovation projects planned to be launched in 3rd party manufacturers.

Selected individual must collaborate with the various functions throughout Unilever organization, such as R&D, Planning, Finance, Brand and other procurement or supply chain groups in the diverse procurement activities.

A successful Unilever procurement professional is expected to be:

  • Outstanding in idea generation, ideas that are forward thinking, and that contribute to creating sustained competitive advantage in Procurement Value
  • A strategic Influencer - Strong at selling ideas to his/her business partners, internally and externally, translating these into effective proposals conveying the total value and communicating it accordingly
  • Outstanding in execution – has an eagle-eye for detail
  • Uses the Innovator’s DNA – act as an entrepreneur, finds creative solutions to roadblocks, adjusts plans based on data, sets trends and is willing to lead, follow or get out of the way
  • Be a natural leader, the ability to take lead on driving cross functional initiatives from conceptualization to implementation
  • Embraces the Digital Agenda – utilizes and leverages digital insights to exploit opportunities, create new capabilities and bring value to UL

A successful Unilever procurement professional will be responsible for:

  • Being fully operational and actively using UL systems: SAP, DCIW, CUPA, others
  • Assisting with or owning the ongoing management of existing supplier relationships
  • Driving value-creation and delivering financial targets, that includes but not limited to assisting in project management of value improvement projects.
  • Assist with innovation projects launches at CM network
  • Upholding Unilever code of business ethics in all activities

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • BS/BA Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relatable subject.
  • Strong Analytical, Interpretation and Communication skills: data/information analysis and presentation; ability to effectively communicate across a variety of audiences and heirarchies
  • Working cross-functionally across teams with varying priorities

Pay: The pay range for this position is $67,000 to $100,500. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
