Procurement Director, Ice Cream North America

The North America Ice Procurement Director leads the procurement function in partnering US IC division ( 1.8 Bn€ turnover).
The procurement director will be part of IC North America leadership team and Global IC Procurement Leadership team, being the end to end procurement representative for the business and accountable for the procurement results in the P&L of the categories, leading all programs related to that.
This role is therefore responsible for developing procurement strategies to facilitate the delivery of business objectives, including acceleration of SUSO agenda, material resiliency, and the delivery of F4SG (Fuel for sustainable growth) objectives for both material and indirect procurement portfolios in his respective areas of responsibility. This role is also responsible for translating business needs into materials strategies developed and implemented by portfolios to deliver results required for business.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Material NMI, Service, Quality
- Advise North America business on commodity impacts and CRM response strategies
- Lead material resiliency strategy development for North America
- Business partner NA Ice Cream leadership in product logic value creation and category P&L delivery
- Lead continuous F4G pipeline plan for re-investment in our brands
- Lead the talent development, workload and priority management of the North America team
- Build strong global Procurement networks to deliver fast and brilliant saving / innovation projects
- Business partner IC key indirect procurement projects for MBS and Logistics portfolios
- Connect the business strategy and category priorities with the procurement strategy developed by the portfolio groups, engaging with the global procurement organization
- Lead the team to support the business in all procurement activities related to innovations and growth initiatives
- Ensure that the team is giving the right level of support and responsiveness on issues related to quality and services from the suppliers of the categories
- Accountable for forecast of savings, inflation and net impact in the P&L
- Interface with local suppliers and the market on behalf of Unilever
- Support the Development relationship with strategic suppliers in support of the North America Business
- Lead cross category initiatives and pillars as a member of the Global Procurement leadership teams

Pay: The pay range for this position is $$200,600 to $401,200. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible. Benefits: Unilever employees are eligible to participate in our benefits plan.
