Senior Manager I, Advertising Sales - Partner Manager, Walmart Connect (Consumables)
Position Summary...
What you'll do...
As a Partner Manager on our Consumables team, you will report to a Team Lead and use your 5-7 years of experience selling digital advertising solutions to successfully grow advertiser investment with Walmart Connect. With your broad and long-standing client-side and agency relationships, ideally within the CPG space, your consultative approach, and a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned client(s) and sell a wide range of advertising solutions that will ensure that their business goals are met. As an individual contributor, you will be supported by a cross-functional team and will benefit from working alongside the leadership team that has chartered our impressive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Exceed sales goals at an individual and team level
- Define and own account plans to unlock investment
- Partner with teammates and cross-functionally to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives - developing account plans, synthesizing market data, leading client analysis, and matching Walmart Connect solutions to meet client business objectives
- Penetrate organizations to influence executive and day-to-day contacts to deliver against an account plan and drive alignment
- Collaborate with measurement partners to refine a learning agenda and to help clients understand the impact of Walmart Connect's media and measurement solutions
- Own accurate forecasting and bottoms-up planning to support revenue target attainment
- Partner with product and other cross-functional teams to serve as a liaison and deliver information that aligns to customer needs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years of experience in Digital Ad Sales, Shopper Marketing Sales, eCommerce Sales, Retail Ad Sales, Search
- 5+ years of experience managing client accounts
- 3+ years' experience as a proven strategic advisor working with C-Level clients
- Track record of reaching and exceeding revenue/business targets
- Strong track record of high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
- Strong analytical abilities and financial acumen
- Operational rigor (maintaining a pipeline, filing call reports, handling account planning, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and diligent follow-through
