Senior Software Engineer - Backend

About Team: Health & Wellness
Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization. What you'll do:
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems
- Work with a wide range of systems, processes and technologies to own and solve problems from end-to-end
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
- Knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns and micro-service architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD and unit testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build systems for customers
- Play an active role in production operations and identity meaningful learnings from incident
- Influence and educate the team with your experience, idea and learning
- What you'll bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working within large, well maintain codebases
- You like a mix of coding, ops, and wiring different pieces together to deliver results
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams
- Appreciate productivity and care deeply about helping others work more effectively and efficiently
Bonus Points
- Experience using Kotlin and GraphQL
- Understanding of modern software development lifecycle with tools for continuous integration and progressive deliver
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Azure
