Job Summary

When joining Digital Self Service, you will be part of a team that is building tools to empower customers to manage and troubleshoot their accounts. You'll be aligned with one of our agile product and development teams, working together with not only other engineers but also with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Solution Designers, QA engineers, DevOps and Production Support teams.

Job Description

· Follow our agile Scrum process, working in sprints together with the rest of the team to deliver on time with technical quality

· Work with our tech stack and tooling which includes, but is not limited to: ReactJS, TypeScript, Javascript, Azure, GitHub, and Concourse CI

· Continuously improve yourself and the products you work on

· Demonstrate expertise in core web technologies HTML/JS/CSS

· Write Unit and Integration Tests to ensure the quality of your own code and others

· Display exceptional communication skills; including in meetings and written artifacts

· Be excited by building User Interfaces that are seen by thousands of our customers

· Lead large technical projects, set technical direction for a team, make recommendations and own the solution

· Mentor and help other engineers on your team grow their skills and abilities

Nice to have’s:

· Nice to have: Proficient in at least one other web language; Python, PHP, Elixir, Ruby, etc.

· Nice to have: Previous experience as a technical lead on a Scrum team.

· Nice to have: Experience working with external APIs to build applications
