Job Summary

Join our business development team of dedicated automotive marketers, forging new territory in accountability through an innovative and holistic video marketing approach. By leveraging Comcast data, scale and technology, we build strategic-forward partnerships with unparalleled audience-based solutions in the tv/video ecosystem, proven by measurable sales growth for the organization. You must have significant experience collaborating with sophisticated brands, understand their inherent goals and have the vision to create client trust through data-driven solutions and exceptional client service. As a sales leader, you will be expected to serve as a vertical expert to bring growth opportunity to the organization. You will work within an inclusive and diversified team of professionals constructing measurable and seamless client experiences. This role will be based out of one of our hub offices in NY, Atlanta, Detroit, or Chicago. Travel is expected to meet with clients, internal stakeholders across the country and attend industry events.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Through proof of performance, evangelize Comcast Advertising solutions, data and technology in the video marketplace.
  • Secure and develop partnerships with c-suite automotive leaders with the scale and sophistication of Comcast behind you.
  • Develop innovate use cases for brand marketers using Comcast deterministic data, and advanced technology.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the automotive industry, market news, media trends, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills is required to articulate our solutions narrative effectively.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities which align with client objectives through holistic video marketplace initiatives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data analytics to influence campaign insights and reporting tools.
  • Ensure ad sales business development goals and objectives are met through measurement of individual work performance,
  • Perform budgeting responsibilities that may include budget development and monitoring department spending.
  • Provide product and technical expertise to assist teams and personnel in developing strategies to increase ad sales volume.
  • Consult with management and clients on an as-needed basis to develop advertising packages to fit a clients' needs and challenges.
  • Monitor the market as well competitors' new or changing product and service offerings.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Willingness and availability to travel based on business needs.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Veteran automotive marketer with 10+years experience, previous success working with brand teams to deliver measurable business outcomes ( advertising sales, brand strategy, marketing)

  • Proven experience using data and measurement to influence strategy and decision making at senior levels both internally and externally

  • Well versed in the Automotive & Media Landscape across multiple platforms including digital, and linear
  • Business Development experience (lead development, partnering with sales, negotiations)
  • Demonstrated understanding of how automotive tiers are supported and work together.

Pay Range: This job can be performed in New York City, with a Pay Range of $105,600.00 USD - $178,464.00 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.

Targeted Commission: $112,500

Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
