Job Summary

As a Product Manager for TPX's Entertainment group, you will set the vision strategy and roadmap to monetize OTT content publishers' ad inventory. You will assess advertising industry trends, anticipating future needs, and finding opportunities to provide outstanding customer experiences. You will orchestrate introducing the Comcast Ad Framework to OTT partners, evaluate needs and integrate them with Comcast platforms (Xfinity, Xumo and syndicated partners) in collaboration with the App Platform collaborators. You will be an educator and translator across business and technology units to ensure teams have an exchanged opinions and attitude of both the true business needs and the technical possibilities available to solve them. You and team will partner with collaborators to identify OTT advertising friction points, solutions, prioritization and deliver desired outcomes.

Job Description

What you will do:
  • Drive App Platform's advertising product roadmap, and act as subject matter authority on industry trends, technology, opportunities, friction points and solutions.
  • Lead E2E OTT enablement of content publishers' advertising capabilities, including planning, execution, testing, troubleshooting and release to market.
  • Lead the product definition, author business product requirements, use cases, acceptance requirements and product development material in order to build shared understanding of the problem & solution spaces.
  • Synthesize market changes and technology improvements into useful improvements through market research and competitive landscape and offerings.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments, capability gap analysis (i.e., what is wanted vs. what is attainable).
  • Harmonise with business, legal, finance and technology functional areas to secure consensus to deliver on the defined desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our Program Managers, Architects and Engineering team to guide the development of products to launch and beyond.
  • Prioritize features and improvements in story backlog.
  • Consistently exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Showcase your product launches in release trainings, client emails, and company webinars.
Who you are:
  • 4+ years of product management experience in defining video advertising technology products.
  • Expert in configuring video ad serving systems, programmatic exchanges and working closely with VAST, audience targeting, and data privacy technologies.
  • Skilled in authoring product epics, stories, acceptance criteria and working with architecture and engineering teams to plan product results.
  • Experienced in leading a technical product development cycle and shipping successful products.
  • Familiar with JIRA and other product and project management tools.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, and attention to detail.
