Job Summary

The Corporate Director will join the Legal Technology Operations group, reporting to the Corporate Associate Vice President of Legal Technology Operations. Seeking a dynamic and experienced hands-on Legal Technology Director. This technology leader will be responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of applications and digital transformation projects across the enterprise legal function.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Own the delivery, management and support of various Cloud based applications

  • Manage, mentor and develop onsite, offshore developers, project managers and business analysts

  • Hands-on responsibilities include management/administration of various legal/technology applications and processes

  • Delivery and management of integrations across legal applications and enterprise technology platforms

  • Champion continuous improvement efforts (people, process & technology)

  • Build strong partnerships with the enterprise legal function and adjacent corporate functions to develop, improve and manage transformative/sustainable solutions

  • Create and maintain project delivery, roadmaps, timelines and change management

  • Create and manage functional and technical documentation to support new and existing applications and processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on technology management experience

  • Legal Technology Operations is a Cloud First team, this role requires proven expertise in the design,

  • delivery, management and integration of Cloud technologies

  • Expertise across legal technologies not limited to a specific legal technology

  • Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve issues

  • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing

  • Corporate Legal, Media or Law Firm experience highly preferred

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and implement requirements to meet functional and technical specifications

  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times

  • Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision

  • Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects/tasks

Technical Requirements:

  • Proven delivery of applications on the Salesforce platform (Force.com)

  • Proven experience in the delivery, management and support of other Legal technologies (DMS, CLM, Matter Management, Patent, etc.)

  • Experience in contract & document intelligence (AI, NLP, ML, etc.)

  • Proven delivery of integrations between cloud systems

  • Demonstrated experience in software development

  • Excellent Microsoft Office and related technology expertise

  • Knowledge or experience with Business Intelligence Tools helpful

  • Project Management tools/experience helpful

Educational/Certificate Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree

  • Master's degree in a relevant field is desired

  • Relevant Salesforce Certifications is desired

  • Project Management Certification is a plus

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Creates, updates, and preserves important corporate records/documentation

  • Possesses knowledge of the law and legal processes

  • Demonstrates excellent organization, communication, and time management skills

  • Oversees the planning and execution of customer meetings as needed

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Salary:

Pay Range: This job can be performed in New York City, with a Pay Range of $184,918.71 USD - $277,378.06 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
