PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Manager Shared Services, Acquisition manages and leads the Shared Services team with a primary focus around Acquisition. This position is responsible for leading collections efforts for acquired account receivables across different systems. The Manager, Shared Services initiates and monitors the transition of the acquired receivables to our primary system when necessary.
Essential Functions
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•
Responsible for leading all efforts related to collections on both old and new acquisitions
•
Primary point of contact for new acquisitions for USS
•
Manage the transition of acquired receivables and businesses into respective business units; assessing the risk of aged receivables
•
Manage several receivables and collectors on different platforms
•
Work with counterparts in acquisitions to gain knowledge on remaining receivables and coordinate with the team on obtaining required documentation and support
•
Partner with business/project leads on various ad hoc assignments related to acquisitions, such as Managing invoice uploads to the company’s primary ERP system
•
Responsible for reviewing agings and bad debt reserves for each business unit
•
Responsible for creating and maintaining monthly metrics reporting. Manage and continuously improve all aspects of the function
•
Lead, motivate, and guide the members of our Shared Services teams to the highest level of performance
•
Promote and maintain an environment that encourages and rewards teamwork and collaboration
•
Assist in the onboarding of new Shared Services Associates
•
Support team with special projects and workflow process improvements
•
Perform other duties as assigned

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.
