I. Job Summary

Performs maintenance services and repairs on the facility equipment as assigned by the division in conformance with all regulations and CWM company policies.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Maintenance and repair on all site pumps, boilers and motors.

  • All pipe fitting work, i.e. copper, PVC, Stainless Steel, Iron fiberglass.

  • Pumps - able to independently identify problem, disassemble, repair and reassemble as required.

  • Boiler - have a thorough working knowledge of boilers including the chemical additives.

  • Repairs on all machinery or mechanical equipment related to Model City Operations. Work involves the following: Examining machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble, dismantling or partly dismantling machines and performing repairs that mainly involve the use of hand tools in scraping and fitting parts; replacing broken or defective parts with items obtained from stock; ordering the production of a replacement part of a machine shop or sending the machine to a machine shop for major repairs; preparing written specifications for major repairs; or for the production of parts ordered from the machine shops; reassembling machines and making all necessary adjustments for operation. In general, the work of a machinery maintenance mechanic requires rounded training and experience usually required through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Excluded from this classification are workers whose primary duties involve setting up or adjusting machines.

  • All other duties assigned by Supervisor.

IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

  • Education: High school graduate.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of relevant work experience.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

  • None required.

  • Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often;

Normal setting for this job is: repair/maintenance shop.
