Preventative Maintenance Mechanic - $5,000 Bonus

We have an immediate position open for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to work on our fleet of trucks at Murrey's Disposal in Fife, WA. Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment are encouraged to apply. At least 1 year of experience doing preventative maintenance on diesel trucks is preferred.

Pay and Schedule:

• $27.50/hr. with a top-scale wage of $28.50/hr. and a $1.50/hr. shift differential.
• Working Monday -Friday - NO WEEKENDS!
• $5,000 STAY-ON BONUS

Responsibilities Include:

• Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Ability to effectively communicate and understand service schedule and/or repairs
• General shop maintenance/cleaning duties as needed
• Equipment safety checks
• Communicate with drivers for issues in morning and afternoon
• Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of commercial vehicles including yellow iron.

Qualified candidates must have:

• Experience in commercial or similar repair field is preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn new skills, and a positive attitude,
• Driver’s license.
• Basic tool set and toolbox
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn test diagnostic laptop and software
