Manufacturing Engineer (PP)
TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer
DUTIES: Procure new EPS Electronic Assembly Equipment and Tools for Global Programs; Complete Equipment Specs, Runoff Books, and Machine Qualification Process Documents as required; Complete New Program Launch Activities per CPI for all Equipment Procurements; Support New Program Launch Activities in Region for Global Programs; Participate in Customer RFQ Cost Activities (ECR process); Coordinate Bill-of-Process Documentation and Updates; Participate in Cross Functional Global Team Meetings to Assist in Resolving Manufacturing issues; Implement Process Improvement Ideas Using Structured Problem-Solving Tools.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering and two years of experience in the job offered or related. Experience must include: Experience working with Servo Pressing, Auto-Dispensing, Auto-Screw Driving, Vision Systems, and barcode readers; experience working with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Electrical Controls as it applies to manufacturing equipment; experience with Geometric Tolerancing and Product Drawing Interpretation; and experience with AutoCad.
