Global Internship Program:

Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2023 Global Internship Program as a SharePoint Design Intern in Madison, WI!

As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. In addition to department work, we support your professional development and career exploration through program workshops, leadership speakers, employee resource group introductions, new hire panel discussions and small group ‘coffee chats’.

About the Team:

The Animal House Operations department performs a variety of scientific studies to help determine the potential safety, efficacy, and toxicity of potential new drugs during their journey to become approved medicines.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Review current data resource repositories, including local and cloud-based file shares, SharePoint libraries, Teams folders, and more.

• Categorize data resources into a functional, logical, easy-to-use system

• Design and propose a new SharePoint site to hold all applicable data resources

• Upon approval, begin migrating all existing data resources into the new SharePoint site

• Provide basic support to daily tasks in the lab area.

Education/Qualification/Skills:

• Working towards bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Library Sciences, or Biology

• Previous experience with Microsoft SharePoint

• Interest in working with animals in a laboratory environment

• Ability to take customer feedback and apply it to improve UI experience
