As the Team Manager you’ll be joining a business that is expanding, cares about the community and the environment. You will get a 9% pension as standard, increasing to 13% company max contribution (plus your 4% = a 17% pension). Role Value Proposition:

The Team Manager will play a key role in the direct people management of their team, working closely with the wider business to build a collaborative environment to innovate and continually improve our service.

  • Support, motivate, and coach your team in the delivery of exception levels of customer service through the lifetime of a policy with MetLife. The main responsibilities for the Team Manager role will be centered around the people (approx. 15 direct reports, with oversight of 30 customer service associates) taking responsibility for team / individual performances, absence, development, and engagement.
  • Actively understand and interpret operation data and proactively share updates with senior management to ensure operational standards and performance targets are achieved.
  • Promote and empower a change resilient and continuous improvement mindset with the team, embracing innovation. A proven track record of initiating simplification, process re-engineering and automation will be beneficial as we continually enhance the customer experience, ensuring all KPIS and service levels are met.

Team Manager Key Relationships: Operations, Sales, Finance, IFA’s, IT, 3rd party vendors / suppliers.

Essential Business Experience

Required:

  • You will already be managing people in a financial services and customer focused role;
  • Your experience has taught you many skills, including a flexible approach & attitude
  • Able to use own initiative and work well under pressure, prioritising workload and tasks
  • Educated to at least GCSE level in both Math & English
  • Strong team work ethic as well as being able to work individually
  • Minimum of 2yrs people management experience
