Join a winning team as our Vice President, Infrastructure & Renewables, Real Assets!

As our Vice President of Infrastructure & Renewables, Real Assets you will lead underwriting and execution of North American transactions across the capital stack including construction financing and back-leverage term financing. Using sector expertise to assist in M&A and other event situations (deal contingent hedging, debt capital markets) for infrastructure & renewable energy assets. Review legal documents with internal & external counsel and clients to ensure that financial terms, liabilities and representations are favorable to HSBC to close new transactions. Assess project level due diligence including relevant technical, engineering and market studies. Effective teamwork across multi-functional teams to deliver HSBC universal banking product range to clients. Share market trends, knowledge and ideas with the team and develop junior resource to drive excellence and perform to the highest standards. Provide insight & analysis to aid the existing portfolio management team. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal & external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators. While upholding the highest level of integrity and act as a role model for all HSBC values and business principles

Clients include utilities, developers, pension & infrastructure funds and private equity investors

For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $230,000 and $250,000.

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
