The Reality Labs Digital Merchandising Team is responsible for the strategy and operations of our global ecommerce business. This team is establishing customer-driven best practices to drive Meta’s expanding ecosystem of hardware, software, services and content in a highly matrixed organization. Our team is looking for a Digital Merchandising Manager to evolve the practice of ecommerce merchandising within our Reality Labs Global Sales organization. This Digital Merchandising Manager will drive the end-to-end strategic operations of products across our portfolio which includes hardware, software, and services. This Digital Merchandising Manager will be responsible for developing and defining a merchandising strategy that drives key focus areas including but not limited to inventory assortment management, ownership of product lifecycle and retention tactics, omni channel customer experience and commercial performance, vendor management, product development, forecasting, annual planning, and promotions. You will work closely with multiple global cross functional partners including Business Development, Engineering, Product Management, Marcom, Product Marketing Management, and Data Sciences.

Required Skills

Digital Merchandising Manager Responsibilities:

  • Build a consumer-centric and data-based merchandising strategy that drives sales and conversion of software, services, and hardware products
  • Establish digital merchandising expertise within the organization by developing best practices that drive operational excellence across the consumer journey
  • Define business and functional requirements for Product Management, Engineering and Product Design to create merchandising journeys that span hardware, software, and services
  • Develop creative briefs tied to a robust site measurement plan for all digital touchpoints across the customer experience
  • Partner with cross functional teams to create a compelling brand experience online through merchandise presentation (product pages, landing pages, promotions), intuitive category navigation and clear and accurate product information for both desktop and mobile
  • Utilize data to analyze current performance and identify A/B testing and optimization opportunities
  • Research the ecommerce landscape and online competitors continuously, identifying category trends and growth opportunities

Minumum Qualification

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years relevant experience in an e-commerce, merchandising, category management, product marketing, or product management role
  • Experience managing cross-functional relationships across Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Sales stakeholders
  • Proven track record in driving sales results against business goals and building a program or product at a global level
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment with a customer-first mindset and can thrive in ambiguity
