Senior Cyber Threat Intel Analyst ($5k Sign-On Bonus)
Job Description Working at BAE Systems has never been more exciting! We are seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Intel Analyst to join our organization. Successful candidates who are newly hired to BAE Systems are eligible to receive a sign on bonus of $5,000. Details of this sign on bonus will be provided in the offer letter. Relocation is available for qualified candidates.
Successful candidates will perform cyber threat intelligence analysis and assessments based on knowledge of electronic warfare/intelligence systems. Our team performs expert-level research and analysis of intelligence and related data, in support of threat studies.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Participates as a team member performing cyber resiliency analyses and assessments.
- Provides expert level experience with Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF), DISA STIG, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171 models, theory, guidance, and controls.
- Provides control implementation support, STIG checklist support, and general IA guidance to pilot team.
- Supports team performing expert-level research and analysis of intelligence and related data support of threat studies.
- Provides advice, guidance and direction to cyber security and DoD information security assessments.
- Prepares, submits and presents reports and issue papers to customer representatives.
- May leverage tools such as Looking Glass, Dark Cubed, etc. to provide tailored cyber threat intelligence.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and expertise to more junior analysts.
- Some travel may be required.
- This position requires the successful candidate to have a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements.
- Requires 5+ years' experience in Cyber/IT with a BS/BA, 3+ years’ experience with a Masters, or 0+ years’ experience with a PhD.
- Experience applying DoD RMF, STIGs, and NIST cybersecurity controls.
- Knowledge of advanced threat analysis technology in such areas as telecommunications, computer science, and electronic warfare.
- Skills and abilities in supervising the handling classified information.
- Strong knowledge of technology related to electronic warfare.
- Knowledge of advanced threat analysis technology in areas such as telecommunications, computer science, and electronic warfare.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to thrive and excel in sense-of-urgency environments.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- One or more Cyber certifications is highly preferred such as GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI), GIAC Open Source Intelligence (GOSI), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED), GIAC Certified Detection Analyst (GCDA), GIAC Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT), GIAC Enterprise Vulnerability Assessor (GEVA), etc.
- Experience as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) or Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
- Experience using cybersecurity tools such as LookingGlass and Dark Cubed to obtain, fuse and analyze cyber threat intelligence.
