Leidos is hiring licensed behavioral health professionals to join our Mission Ready Reserve (MRR) team in the state of North Dakota with flexibility and availability to provide counseling support locally (<50 miles) with potential to travel for short-term event coverage in periodic, as needed assignments throughout the state. The MRR team offers a unique opportunity to serve a vital role, based on your availability, in providing counseling services to U.S. service members and their families get the support they truly need through:
- Short-term Support: Tailored to specific situations as they arise in a targeted area. MFLCs assist service members and their families to enhance operational and family readiness during challenging times. Potential issues necessitating surge support can include but are not limited to: deployment-related reintegration challenges, military contingencies, natural disaster or crisis, grief, and loss.
Adult Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) responsibilities include:
The MFLC Program provides confidential non-medical counseling to active-duty service members, National Guard and reserve members, Department of Defense civilian expeditionary workforce members, and the immediate family members and survivors of any of the above.
Available in person at installation Military and Family Support Centers, service members and their families can rely on Military and Family Life Counselors to rapidly respond when they need it most. Military and Family Life Counselors are available for confidential face-to-face counseling, as well as to provide briefings and presentations to staff or units.
Mission Ready Reserve counselors will also benefit from:

Minimum Requirements:
- A Master’s degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD).
- Licensure to practice at the independent practice level (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, LPC, Psychologist) in the state where you provide services.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to pass a basic background check for employment, a Child National Agency Check, and Inquiries (NACI/CNACI) clearance, commonly called a Public Trust clearance.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $28/hr. - $50/hr.
