Summary of Job Duties:We are looking for an efficient, reliable Senior Network Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network for Extension’s network.
The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operations. Supervision of other network specialists to ensure compliance with system and account management.
Administration and implementation of security for the network and computer systems is a critical part of this position. You must be comfortable in a diverse, fast-paced environment and able to analyze data to translate results into better solutions.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is required plus three (3) years of relevant professional experience, including one (1) year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

- Windows Server OS and HyperV, AWS, and Azure cloud servers
- Linux Server OS and Oracle Virtual Manager
- MS IIS webserver configuration and management
- Event Log collection and monitoring
- MS Active Directory/Azure AD management/Azure SSO
- MS 365 application and security management
- MS SQL configuration and management
- DNS, DHCP, SSL Certs, Domain Name management
- SAN and NAS using protocols such as SMB, CIFS, and NFS
- Configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Cisco IOS, IOS Licensing, Junos OS, IPv4, IPv6, VLANs, ACLs, BGP, Netflow, WLAN, LAN and WAN
- Proficient with TCP, UDP, IP, and sub netting
- Budget planning and management and Vendor negotiations/quotes
- Symantec Endpoint Security Management
- Server/data backups and restores
- Disaster recovery/Business continuity planning and documentation
- Creation and implementation of standards, procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Task automations using Powershell and other batch applications
- Inventory management
- CyberSecurity protection and training
- HIPAA and other federal and state data privacy and security provisions

Ability to speak & write clearly & communicate ideas successfully. Ability to organize, plan, & prioritize work. Ability to attend to details while simultaneously handling multiple projects.
