Summary of Job Duties:
The Post Doctoral Fellow will perform research, supervise graduate students, and produce publications. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution of higher education conferred by the start of employment
Experience in research in power electronics converter design for medium to high power applications such as electric vehicle traction drives or grid-connected devices
Experience in design, fabrication, and test of high-power electronics
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer to have experience in research areas containing an emphasis on medium voltage power electronics, PCB design, DSP-based controls, and hardware-in-the-loop test stands
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of advanced power electronics controls
