Quality Engineer Intern - 2023 Summer Internship

Location: Shoreview, MN.

Your Day to Day:

• Assist with the implementation of business unit and departmental QA plans/programs according to current U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Westinghouse and customer QA standards for nuclear and non-nuclear facilities. Implement policies on scope and retention requirements of quality assurance documentation. Assist with site level quality system procedures to support the inspection, calibration and production processes.

• Assist with inspections

• Assist with Quality Notification (Internal inspection nonconformances)

• Assist higher level QA personnel during external audits conducted by customers, government agencies, etc.

• Assist with various aspects of the site QA program including calibration, training, document preparation, self-assessment, corrective action program as assigned.

• Assist with quality control techniques and statistical methods for collection of deficiency and maintenance information to identify failure causes and trends, rate performance and measure effectiveness of QA programs

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or direcstly related technical BS Degree
* Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred.
* Completion of Sophomore year of college by May 2023
