Test Procedure Developer

Opportunity Overview: Test Procedure Developer – CONTRACT – 6 months +

WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse has an opportunity for a Test Procedure Developer. This is a contract role – work will be remote with occasional travel to the Farley nuclear plant in Alabama for meetings and outage support. Full time through 8/2023 and then support work in 10/2023 for outage.

What your day-to-day looks like:

• I&C Modernization Test Procedure Development for Modification Acceptance Test (MAT) & Power Ascension Test (PAT)
  • MAT – Testing to demonstrate equipment operability and controls after installation and before Power Ascension
  • PAT – Testing during Power Ascension to validate system and plant operability at selected power plateaus between 0 through 100 percent RTP.
• Scope of work can be supported remotely with partial travel to site for procedure development meetings and Outage support for Test Procedure execution.

What we need to see from you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
• I&C Background with Plant 7300 Control Systems and Westinghouse Ovation Digital Controls
• Test Procedure Development Experience
• Test Procedure Site Implementation Experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• 10+ years of experience in nuclear operations
