Public Administration Analyst-Embedded Clinical Research and Innovation Unit
Responsibilities
The Public
Admin Analyst for the Embedded Clinical Research and Innovation Unit (ECRI) will be an on-site and offsite coordinator of a large multi-site project
working with UCLA patients, clinic staff, and physicians to support research
projects in clinical setting. In this role, you will support research
implementation and provide project support. Your duties
will include but not limited to:
- describing research studies to interested
participants and answering questions about the nature and involvement of the
study - obtaining informed consent from study participants or their respective
family members - collect surveys for the study
- collect file data from patient
experiences as well as technical workflow of any device and technology
installation that may relate to projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or 3 years of prior research experience or experience with patients in a clinical setting
- Fluent in Spanish-Preferred
- Experience in working with a patient population in a healthcare setting
- Technical skills in smart devices and good technology proficiency
- Ability to demonstrate excellence in customer service and show empathy
in sensitive situations - Demonstrate
ability to apply techniques of patient-centered counseling and
problem-solving. - Proficiency
in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, excellent computer skills - Comfortable around elderly and frail patient
populations
