Background & Purpose of the Job

Provide the highest level of administrative and organizational support to the Seventh Generation Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), other executives and the organization in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment. This position will manage the CMO’s calendar, travel, expense reporting and meeting coordination and prep. This position also provides support to our CSP Lead, Director of R&D, Chief Impact Officer and other functions as needed.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

  • Manage day to day schedules in such a way that the executives can complete their obligations in an organized, efficient way.

  • Proactively manage calendars based on business priorities, customer meetings, fiscal calendars, current projects, and team needs 

  • Coordinate external meetings including but not limited to off-site meetings, client meetings, one-on-one meetings, etc.

  • Oversee the detailed coordination and booking of travel and all travel related itineraries

  • Effectively interface with employees from Seventh Generation and Unilever as well as Senior Executives inside and outside the company

  • Assist with food orders, luncheon planning, and planning of other business related meetings as requested

  • Coordinate the on-going tracking and management of the Marketing overhead budget

  • Other administrative and project duties as requested

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • BS or BA required, or equivalent years of experience in related field

  • Agile, organized, proactive, problem-solver, who shows great attention to detail.

  • Results oriented with a can-do mindset

  • Adaptable in managing evolving priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, growing environment

  • Demonstrated leadership skills within a process oriented, team environment

  • Strong relationship management skills, ability to build a personal network throughout the company

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Professional, cordial, courteous

  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
