Category Development Analyst

Background & Purpose of the Job

This position will support our Walmart Category team. This entails modular drawing, analytics, and insights support.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

The position will require proficiency in JDA and Modular drawing, as well as analytic support. This role will aid in the development of store specific modulars, and require knowledge of all JDA tools and capabilities, as well as Walmart’s QuickBase, Luminate, and Retail Link systems. In addition, this role will support the Category Advisor team with modular analysis and reporting throughout the year.

• You love to win and have fun doing it: The position will require drawing store specific modulars, taking retailer strategy and executing on shelf, in a fast-paced environment. A desire to win and attention to detail are attributes needed for our candidate to succeed in this role
• You’re a dot connector: The position will require the ability to develop customer relationships and translate customer strategy in modular execution. The ideal candidate will have the ability to connect these points to understand modular strategy, as well as use syndicated data to recognize emerging trends as they are happening.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Detail oriented and self starter
• Minimum 1-year related experience: Modular drawing and proficiency in JDA
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Experience or ability to quickly learn Luminate/Numerator
• Ability to maintain and update QuickBase, attribution, store lists, and Product Library
• Experience or ability to quickly analyze data from Retail Link and syndicated data (IRI and/or Nielsen) and provide recommendations

Pay: The pay range for this position is $67,000 to $100,500. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
