Job Description
We have a Pharmacy Technician opening in our Mount Prospect facility, where you will be able to excel in a complex, high impact customer service role that positively impacts the lives of others. In this role you will be responsible for performing the daily functions of packing and shipping prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. As a Pharmacy Technician you will also be cross-trained in other functions such as the packing of mail order prescriptions including automated and manual drug dispensing. This also includes the loading of automated dispensing machines, verification, packaging and delivery of prescription drug orders. In order to be successful in this role you will need to be able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand, bend, and reach overhead for the duration of your shift.

It’s critical that you are knowledgeable of maintaining inventory supplies, current pharmacy supplies usage trends, and purchasing needs of pharmacy department. Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff is also required.

Schedule:
Mon., Tue., Thur., Fri. from 6:30am-2:45pm, and Sat. 8:30am-5:00pm

Required Qualifications
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Colleague will be required to work mandatory overtime/extended work week when needed
- Colleague will be required to travel when needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to apply for a pharmacy technician license before first day of employment

- Picking and packing of orders experience
- Prior shipping experience
- Pharmacy technician experience

Education
- Verifiable High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
