The primary focus of the Quality Control Associate II role will be to support product lot release and in-process testing within a cGMP environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining scheduling in smartQC of assays for lot release, in-process testing, stability, and other protocol testing at the Bothell, WA site for QC. Additionally, this role will provide oversight of the timely completion of lot file preparation for cGMP testing, and reporting of results for other testing types. Additionally, this role may provide limited technical support and troubleshooting for the support of lot release, in-process, and stability testing.

Hours: Wed-Sat 6am-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Support scheduling of testing for cGMP lot release, in-process, stability testing, and protocol testing using smartQC and LabWare LIMS software packages.

  • Ensure timely completion of lot files and reported results and tasks as assigned.

  • Coordinate stability testing with global stability group, and assist in creating or revising stability protocols, as appropriate.

  • Revise SOPs, Work Instructions, and sample plans as appropriate.

  • Identify and facilitate continuous improvements.

  • Maintain instrumentation and equipment preventative maintenance and supporting documentation in a cGxP compliant manner.

  • Identify and support initiation and completion of Deviations, CAPAs and Laboratory Investigations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree required. BS in a scientific discipline preferred.

  • 3+ years of analytical QC testing within a regulated environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience working in a regulated (GxP) environment and familiarity with various Quality Systems, preferred.

  • Demonstrated success working in a high-performing, business results driven environment.

  • Ability to work in a high paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple projects with little supervision.

  • Computer proficiency as well as strong scientific and organizational skills.

  • Experience working in a GMP environment.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills as well as sound judgment, with the ability to work effectively with others.

  • Ability to maintain flexible intellect and adjust to a dynamic work environment.
