Healthcare Billing Audit Specialist
Audits patient registration documentation and billed charges for accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Conducts audits of charges for consistency with medical record documentation.|
Assists with responding to patients' inquiries concerning the accuracy of billed charges and charge descriptions.|
Assists with responding to third-party payer inquiries and resolving billing disputes.|
Provides summary reports and analysis to hospital staff and management as required.|
Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
