Senior Analyst, QA Engineer

Job Description
As a Senior Analyst QA Engineer, at CVS Health in our "Analytics & Behavior Change" group, you will be testing components of the Underwriting Platform, a software application that serves financial users from our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) business unit. You will work on testing multiple components of the Data Forecast Mart and Computation Engine applications. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that Underwriting Transformation Products are delivered of high quality and on time.
Your role is vital to ensure that testing requirements have been met before changes are put into production. This has a great impact on end users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal customers.
What you will be doing:
∙ Participate in the full software development project lifecycle with emphasis on Quality Assurance activities in the proper implementation.
∙ Support the development of comprehensive test strategies, plans, reports, and environments for manual or automated testing for projects.
∙ Understand the software design documents,
∙ Implement the quality assurance strategy and planning, effort estimation, and software quality assurance risks assessment and mitigation.
∙ Execute test cases and validate results, meet deadlines, and provide first tier of triage for project defects found during test execution.
∙ Responsible for collaborating with IT during requirements and QA testing, defect reporting and resolution prior to sign-off to UAT testing

∙ Responsible for automation of test cases by utilizing existing framework on developing a new framework.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 70,000
Maximum: 140,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
•4+ years of experience in testing and using agile scrum methodologies.
•3+ Years of experience in automating complex functional and regression test scenarios
•2+ years of hands-on experience with python.
•2+ years of experience using SQL queries
•4+ years of experience in QA methodology and principles, tools, processes, and metrics.
•1+ years of experience in Cloud technologies like AWS or GCP
•2+ years of experience with backend testing and automation
•1-2+ years of experience in data warehousing using big data
•Time management and organizational skills
•Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
•Healthcare experience and background is highly preferred.
•Quality assurance experience of finance applications.
•Experience with insurance and pharmacy benefit management a plus.
•Experience with Azure Databricks.
•Experience with Continuous Integration Environment (e.g., Jenkins, GIT)
•Experience with CI/CD

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statistics, or other related field, or Advanced Degree
