Commercial Launch Lead, Hepatology - Germany

This is an exciting opportunity to join GSK as a Commercial Launch Lead, Hepatology focused on German Market.

It is a newly created role that involves a cross functional leadership, allowing you to drive GSK position in Hepatology, portfolio growth and directly shape and lead a winning commercial team within the cross-functional ecosystem.

This role could be an ideal opportunity for you to lead, inspire, coach, and develop a high performing sales and marketing team. You will also be responsible to establish challenging strategic and operating priorities and plans for key products/assets to optimize revenue. The ideal candidate will be based in Germany

Your responsibilities:

  • Meet the high need for cross-functional influence and collaboration internally across divisions to deliver results
  • Create a strong leadership culture and ensure high level of collaboration within the Hepatology cross functional team
  • Attract, recruit and retain high-caliber team.
  • Lead, coach and develop the sales and marketing teams to create a strong, positive, and success-oriented culture
  • Direct and drive the commercial strategies and deliver optimal sales and growth for strategic products
  • Achieve and drive to exceed the business unit targets and goals
  • Ensure appropriate allocation & utilization of budget/resources to ensure budget efficiency, in line with company policy.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Excellence and Medical to define effective channel mix for products

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Extensive years of experience in sales and marketing including leadership of large field force within specialty pharma
  • Experience with turnaround challenges and performance delivery
  • Brand Management experience including product launch

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA
  • Leadership capabilities to influence a group through managing change
  • Demonstrated record in achieving results through others and developing team capabilities
  • Experience within Hepatology space would be beneficial
  • Effective communication and presentations skills
