Senior Analytic Consultant

Job Description
CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Senior Analytic Consultant to develop prediction models and perform complex statistical analysis to generate business intelligence and analytical solutions. Duties include: act as an analytics product owner translating business needs into analytics projects and actions; propose solutions to cloud-based analytics issues of moderate complexity and risk; consult on the creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs using an intermediate understanding of business strategy as well as relevant big data environment topics; collaborate with business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics; coordinate business intelligence and data analysis projects and activities across multiple teams in a matrix organization; construct and deliver written reports of the analytic findings in a variety of formats (reports, PPT, including visualization of data and findings), formulating recommendations, and effectively presenting the results to potential non-analytic audiences; invent, maintain and provide support and training on BI dashboards to the user community; drive the transition from on-premises data analytics to a cloud-based environment, including analyst adoptions, moving existing reporting to the new platform, pushing new development to the cloud-based environment, assessing existing available data, identifying data gaps, and collaborating with the stakeholders in the data strategy and IT teams, business partners, and outside vendors to develop approaches to closing the data gaps; perform structured data analysis to generate analytics insights and solutions to help data scientists determine the best solutions. Required Qualifications
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Also requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes using Oracle, DB2 and Teradata; SQL Server, UNIX Shell Scripting and SAS programming; MS Office/VBA tools; data warehousing for datamart schemas and quality controls; and developing logical data models and source/target flows.
