Post-Adoption Administrator - Remote - WV Foster
Job Description
This is a full-time remote teleworker opportunity in West Virginia. This position requires in-state travel up to 50% of the time. This position will travel and meet with stakeholders, foster groups, parents, and will participate/attend other state meetings at various locations in the state.
Standard business hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM with an expectation to flex beyond core working hours as needed.

Position Summary:
The Post Adoption Administrator is an individual contributor role that will take a leadership role in creating opportunities for and confirming peer and family involvement at all levels of the system, with the focus of preventing adoption disruptions. This position will also work closely with the State Department. Aetna is committed to a system of care that engages individuals receiving services at every level, through: driving their own treatment planning process; providing peer delivered services; engaging in community development work; and making system improvements in administration and service delivery.
Fundamental Components:
• Builds partnerships with individuals, families, youth, and key stakeholders to promote enhance the adoption experience.
• Establishes s structure and mechanisms to increase the member, family, and community a voice in areas of leadership, service delivery and system administration, including Aetna Better Health decision-making Committees and Board.
• Advocates for service environments that are supportive, welcoming, and safe by working with providers to implement Trauma Informed Care service delivery approaches and other initiatives.
• Communicates and collaborates with members and families to identify concerns and remove barriers that affect service delivery and member satisfaction.
• Promotes the development and use of member and family support programs.
• Collaborates with local State Departments in each state.
• Facilitates and participates in internal and external trainings to educate Health Plan staff, behavioral health providers, physical health providers and community members on adoption and post adoption.
• Monitors and evaluates system indicators of success and provides regular reports to leadership.
• Participates in Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), and Foster Care Rounds for the purpose of identifying care and treatment modalities that can assist the member in maintaining community tenure.
• Collaborates with the Administration and other health plans Post Adoption Admins to develop and assist with tools that aid in increasing successful, lifelong adoptions.
• Acts as a SME to gather necessary information to respond in writing to state RFP request(s) and renewals
• Collaborates with the WV Foster Adoptive and Kinship Parents Network.
• Facilitates advisory groups with adoptive/kinship families to obtain input and recommendations.
• Implements solutions to mitigate risk of post-adoption disruptions.
• Knowledge of existing community advocacy groups and the ability to collaborate with multiple system stakeholders on treatment, access to care and wellness issues.
• Knowledge of community resources to support pre and post adoptive families.
• Knowledge of community resources to assist adoptive families with access to and if needed, the development of care and treatment modalities and the growth of healthy family attachment.
• Knowledge of resources specific to trauma, attachment, and preventing adoption disruptions.
• Experience developing and delivering training and education programs for a variety of audiences.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,400
Maximum: 162,700
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications
• Qualified candidates must reside in West Virginia.
• 5+ years experience in health care, managed care, adoption services or other human services field.
• Must possess reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel state-wide up to 50% of the time. Mileage is reimbursed per our company expense reimbursement policy.
• 2+ years’ experience with personal computer, keyboard navigation, and, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word and Dynamo or Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Preferred Qualifications
• WV licensed RN or behavioral health clinician is strongly preferred to include: LICSW, LPC, LMFT, and LGSW.
• Lived adoption experience including parenting and/or a kinship to an adopted child or family members
• Medicaid experience
• Experience developing and delivering training
• Exceptional communication skills, verbal, written, and presentation
Education
• If not licensed, Bachelor's degree in behavioral health/mental health, counseling, social services or human services field required
• If not licensed, Master's degree in behavioral health/mental health, counseling, social services or human services field preferred.
• If RN, Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; BSN preferred
• If licensed behavioral health clinician, Master's degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy required.
