Sr Data Scientist

Job Description
Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Senior Data Scientist to formulate and apply mathematical and computational modeling methods towards data extraction and manipulation. Duties include: use statistical analyses to evaluate scenarios and make predictions on future outcomes to solve complex business problems and support decision making; develop, validate, and execute algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions; explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms; perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve business problems using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses; develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that helps generate insights and addresses reporting needs; organize, collect, and standardize data visualization techniques to communicate analytical results, generate insights, address reporting results, and support business decisions; evaluate the data needs of assigned projects and assure the integrity of the data; work on existing data and recommend additional sources of data for improvements; and document projects, including business objectives, data gathering and processing, and detailed set of results and analytical metrics. Required Qualifications
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and completion of graduate-level coursework, research project, or internship in each of the following: statistical analysis; designing and developing information databases; Tableau, Power BI, or R Shiny; R, Hadoop, Python, Hive, or SQL server; and Microsoft Excel, Access, and VBA.
