As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician you will work with cutting edge technology compounding specialized and complex therapies within the clean room environment. You will utilize your clinical knowledge providing our patients with the smooth service and delivery of their medication to their homes. Make a difference by bringing your personal touch and clinical experiences that will support our patient’s one on one care.
- Preparation and compounding of nonsterile and sterile products.
- Maintaining the pharmacy clean room suite to regulatory requirements.
- Documentation of IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing.
- Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports.
4 x 10 hour shifts between 6:00am and 9:00pm

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

- Must have an active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
- Minimum 6 months of work experience as a pharmacy technician
- Must become Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician within a year of hirePreferred Qualifications
- At least 6 months of previous IV compounding experience required OR graduate of a pharmacy program where you were trained in IV compounding
