Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Duties and Responsibilities

The lubricator will grease, oil, check gearboxes and add oil and grease as necessary: change grease zerts, make minor repairs on lube systems, take samples, maintain records and inventory, etc. on all types of machinery and equipment.

Skills and Experience

A working knowledge of industrial lubricating systems and previous experience with various types of lubricants is a prerequisite for this job.

Must be able to interpret and work from drawings and sketches, and will supply small hand tools.

Works under general supervision and may be required to perform jobs of equal or lower classification.
