Supervisor Warehouse
Position Overview
Warehouse supervisor will manage and oversees all warehouse activities in our CATAÑO Location. Ensure efficient processes and maximize warehouse productivity. The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include Safety, supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation. Gives complete support to Manufacturing Supervisors, Managers and Associates in activities focused to the promotion, training, maintenance and sustainment of continuous improvement in all processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Checking orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
- Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
- Develop, maintain and track KPI's of areas of responsibilities.
- Manage cycle count program in the warehouse.
- Initiates changes in methods and procedures, to ensure all SAP transactions and process are accurate and on posted on time.
- Documents processes, while maintaining current ones, up to date. Ensures procedures are followed and works to keep International Standard Organization “ISO” certification.
- Ensure a safe work environment, while continually working on housekeeping of all storage areas.
- Managed and Lead warehouse team, included but not limited to; encourage the team to delivered and keep them engaged, training and development, work schedule preparation, disciplinary actions if needed.
- Assumes additional duties and responsibilities related as required and assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Five (3) to (5) years’ experience in warehouse administration, supply chain, materials management. Manufacturing environment, preferred.
- SAP and warehouse system management proficient experience.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish).
- Computer literate Power Point, Excel, TEAMS, Outlook minimum.
- Ability to negotiate and persuade others to assist expediting the product through the process is vital
- Active Listening giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to the points being made and asking questions as appropriate
- Time Management
- Critical Thinking using logic and reasoning to identify solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Communicates clear, understandable manner.
- Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving experience
- Knowledge of material flow of product
- Must be able to be effective in a fast-paced enviroment
