Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Sales Center of Excellence (SCOE) lead within Walmart Data Ventures will be responsible for critical cross-functional process and systems initiatives to increase sales, reduce costs, guarantee scalability, and improve the customer experience.

As a member of the Walmart Data Ventures team, you will participate in goal setting and will align initiatives to those goals and drive the successful execution of cross-functional programs, improved transparency, and streamlined ways of working by identifying key drivers of success; assisting in the development of strategic and operating plans.

You will act as primary advocate for key sales operations functions and processes; communicating best practices, goals, and feedback to develop each team member; planning, developing, and implementing work goals and measurements necessary to provide quality service to customers; and developing external professional relationships to ensure the ongoing availability of specialized expertise.

This will include assigning sales goals and metrics and development of tracking processes to ensure success. Partnering with cross-functional teams to create plan to meet sales goals. Work closely with internal business partners and stakeholders to drive adoption and implementation of global standards, processes, and programs.

Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.

Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 15+ years' experience is sales or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading operational teams ranging from Sales Operations, Operations, and/or Revenue Operations.
  • Expertise in defining and crafting operational strategy and scaling business operations.
  • Experience leading teams within a highly complex, matrixed organization.
  • Polished verbal and written communication combined with the ability to understand internal and external stakeholder requirements and earn their trust.
  • Strong ability to execute, measure results and demonstrate progress in the face of ambiguity in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Experienced change management agent.
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading a diverse, high-performance, nationally distributed team.
  • Work with Product & Engineering to identify changes to internal systems / tools that reduce the occurrence & impact of bottlenecks affecting delivery scalability, and improve the efficiency & quality of the labeled data generated
