Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Instructional Design Manager to help guide and develop advertising certifications, program management and analytics for the Walmart Connect Academy advertiser learning platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of online advertising, digital marketing, Walmart Connect, and the Walmart Connect Academy platform. They will also have experience in analytics, program management, and assessment question writing. This candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, easy-to-understand, and effective learning materials that empower our users to leverage the full potential of the Walmart Connect Academy for their advertising learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Walmart Connect Academy, its features, and functionalities.
  • Design and create learning paths and certifications tailored to various user segments and audiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning materials, including videos, tutorials, and written guides.
  • Regularly review and update learning paths to ensure they remain current with the latest Walmart Connect Academy features and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the learning paths through learner feedback and performance metrics, and make necessary improvements.
  • Incorporate analytics to continuously measure the effectiveness of learning materials and make data-driven decisions to enhance learning experiences.
  • Demonstrate strong program management skills, effectively coordinating and overseeing various instructional design projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and write assessment questions to test user comprehension and learning path effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the learning paths and drive user adoption.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in instructional design with Rise360 and Intellum Evolve, and preferably with a focus on digital marketing or online advertising learning platforms.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools and interpreting data to inform instructional design decisions.
  • Experience in program management within a learning and development environment.
  • Experience in creating and writing assessment questions for learning paths.
  • Knowledge of the Walmart Connect Academy and its features, or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Proven ability to design engaging, interactive, and effective learning materials for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.

The annual salary range for this position is $97,500.00-$162,500.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
