The (BSD) Business Services Delivery unit is the heart of this mission. Business Services Delivery is looking for a Software Development Engineer. The Software Development Engineer is responsible for designing and coding new software and web applications and analyzes, tests, and assists with the integration of new applications. In addition, the Software Development Engineer integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities, acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment and may lead teams or projects and share expertise.

In This Role You Will:

  • Grow your Software development knowledge and skills

  • .NET Core and React JS.

  • Web API, Microservice Architecture.

  • AWS.

Required Knowledge and Skill:

  • Relative Work Experience: 4-6 Years

  • Strong interpersonal skills with capability to explain technical subject matter clearly

  • Proven capability in translating technical designs into high quality code deliverables

  • Experience and active participation with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies, ceremonies, processes, and tools

  • Significant hands on development expertise in Microsoft Technologies like C#, .NET / .Net Core, Web API

  • Experience developing and testing REST Web Services / APIs, and integrating third party Web Services using JSON / XML

Nice to have Knowledge and Skill:

  • Experience or familiar with Microservices architecture

  • Solid understanding of OOP, multiple design patterns and best coding practices

  • Experience with Authentication Technologies like SSO and OAuth

  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills

  • Experience developing and deploying applications within AWS infrastructure and components such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, DynamoDB

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control management like Git, multiple development environment merges, etc.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to resolve integration needs.

  • Develops new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. Develops software update process for existing applications. Assists in the roll-out of software releases.

  • Keeps current with technological developments within the industry.

  • Assists in supervising and evaluating performance metrics. Ensures team delivers software on time, to specification and within budget.

  • Works with Quality Assurance team to resolve if applications fit specification and technical requirements.

  • Displays expertise in knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts and skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.

  • Displays expertise in process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
