Full Stack Engineer

At HSBC, the health and well-being of our employees remains of utmost importance. Upon resumption of normal operations, this role may be performed at our Arlington Heights, Illinois or Buffalo, New York office.

As the Full Stack Engineering within Finance-North America, you will be responsible for:

• Assist team with re-designing Cognos and Java reports to Qlik sense reports
• Assist Team with Datastage development, debuging and supporting the application
• Assist the Development Engineering teams to evolve application architectures and practices to leverage GCP tooling in a DevOps operating model
• Translate business requirements as well as data requirements to create data visualizations and reports
• Produce large volume applications in Qlik Sense, leveraging Qlik specific design patterns specifically designed to support datasets with hundreds of millions of records
• Create data models in Qlik Sense to support dashboards; create and use connectors to various data sources
• Understand the QVD layer and architecture of Qlik; create load scripts and QVDs to support dashboards
• Develop batch reports using N-Printing
• Work in an agile environment that requires reacting to changes quickly
• Must be able to work independently and have intellectual curiosity
• Participate in Exiting Hardware and software upgrades
