Job Description The Quality and Process Control role serves as the resident subject matter expert (SME) responsible for maximizing organizational quality, performance, efficiency, and cost savings by proactively identifying areas for improvement within the mobility helpdesk. This role handles the day-to-day quality issues within operations and leads both quality and process improvement initiatives as a result of analyzing performance metrics for mobility helpdesk. The Quality and Process Control role is responsible for ensuring mobility helpdesk operations and provide a high level of quality to provide positive customer experience.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's or equivalent (5-10 years) work experience specifically in mobility and/or helpdesk functions with certification(s).
  • Advanced Excel skill (ie pivot tables, V-lookups, etc)
  • 3 years of experience with Sharepoint and Power BI
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage changing priorities
  • Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Review and develop processes and documentation to support quality and continuous process improvement.

Supports effort to maximize organizational quality, performance, efficiency, and cost savings by proactively identifying areas for improvement.

Proposes appropriate controls and quality assurance; ensures adherence to FEMA processes and procedures, consistent and efficient trouble resolution, error reduction, and continuous process improvement.

Leverage Excel and Power BI for performance metrics

Evaluates and recommends new tools and processes that can improve current work methods and operational efficiencies.

Collaborate with FEMA on special projects and mobility helpdesk processes and escalations.

Collaborates training initiatives to align with quality programs and processes.

Ability to motivate and mobilize a team around shared goals.

Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced and changing environment.
