Technician, Quality I - Mission Bell
Under general supervision, provide and ensure Quality Services operational support during production process. Validate compliance to product specifications and adherence to GMPs through routine and advanced chemical and packaging analyses on wines and other Company products. Communicate with and provide feedback to production team members to facilitate process improvement.
Perform analytical and packaging tests to determine if wines, components, packaging materials, and other products meet Company and regulatory specifications.
Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Prepare reagents and standard solutions.
Prepare, maintain, and distribute required reports and records.
Actively participate in and support Mission Bell Winery’s ISO Quality Management System.
Actively participate in and support Mission Bell Winery’s safety program.
Maintain a safe. clean, and orderly work environment.
Compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Work off shifts and overtime (daily and 6th/7th day) as assigned.
Perform all other tasks as assigned.
Associate degree in relevant field preferred
Zero to two years lab experience preferred (equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable)
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions/direction
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Must be able to recognize potential problems that require solutions to be found at a higher level
Strong writing and math skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience in computer applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, etc.)
Familiarity with AS400, SAP, and IntellaPac
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Works in warm/cold climates
Works in high places
Works on wet surfaces
Potential exposure to loud noise, fumes and/or chemicals
Works near moving, mechanical parts, and lift truck traffic
Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time

The salary range for this role is:$19.21 - $28.81
